My family originally landed here, in Saint John NB, in 1834 before venturing further west. My grandparents met in Ontario, married, had 5 children, and founded Doyle Paint & Wallpaper in the historic town of Fergus where they currently enjoy retirement. As a child I would play in the display windows of the store, I was fascinated by the tinting machine, all done manually then, and the paint shaker, and I loved stamping the paint sticks, using the price gun, and rerolling the wallpaper samples.

I first learned my trade under my grandfathers watchful eye, his dedication to customer satisfaction and pride in workmanship are values I hold in the highest regard. In June of 2021 I moved my family back to beautiful New Brunswick where I established Stroke of Brilliance.
